The National Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia ( NOBTA )

Our Vision:

To help Asian Bodywork practitioners to obtain professional trainings of highest quality and improve the health and well being of people across the nation.

The National Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia is a national not-for-profit organization of Asian bodywork therapies.

Asian Bodywork is based upon traditional Chinese Medical principles for evaluating the energetic system using traditional techniques and treatment strategies to balance all systems of the human body, for restoring and maintaining radiant health, it includes:

  • Acupressure
  • Tui Na
  • Shiatsu
  • Jin Shin Jyutsu
  • AMMA
  • Chi Nei Tsang
  • Jin Shin Do
  • Qigong
  • The NOBTA was established in the year of 2006.

    NOBTA requires it members have a minimum of 2.5 years of Asian bodywork experience or have a formal training of at least 500 hours in traditional Chinese medical theory, Tui Na techniques and basic western medicine. All trainings must either be offered by an NOBTA Certified Instructor, or approved by an NOBTA Certified Instructor.

You may obtain an application on our website and submit it to us with all your supporting documents, such as diploma from a Tui Na/massage school, transcript, proof of work experience, certificate from an Asian Bodywork Institution, awards certificate and etc. All supporting documents will be helpful for you to become an NOBTA certified practitioner .
